Deck Standard 52-card deck. No jokers. Cards rank from Ace (highest) down to 2 (lowest).
Trump Suit Spades (♠) are always trump. They beat every other suit regardless of card rank.
Dealing 13 cards dealt to each player at the start of every round. Dealing rotates clockwise each round.
Calling Phase Before play begins, each player declares a number from 1 to 8 — their predicted trick count for that round.
Scoring: Success Win your called number of tricks or more: score equals your call. Extra tricks above your call add 0.1 per trick.
Scoring: Failure Fall short of your call: deduct your full call from your score. A 5-call failed costs you 5 points.
Rounds 5 rounds per match. Highest total score at the end wins the prize pot.
Turn Timer Each player has 15 seconds to play a card. Timeout results in an automatic card play (lowest valid card). Repeated timeouts may result in a penalty.
Following Suit You must follow the lead suit if you have it. If you cannot follow suit, you may play any card including a spade trump.
Leading Spades You may lead with a spade at any point — unlike some regional variants, 777xy Callbreak Quick allows spade leads from trick one.
